Participation in the ENVIRONTEC International Trade Fair
The Institute of Aquaculture and Environmental Safety of MATE attended the first ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA international trade fair for the environmental industry, infrastructure development, waste, and water management between October 1st and 3rd, 2024. The venue was the HUNGEXPO Budapest Convention and Exhibition Center.
The exhibition focused on how we can keep our environment at a liveable level by transforming our society, economy, and industrial activities with adaptation practices and serving economic actors interested and active in mitigation and resilience.
The aim of the ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA exhibition is for professional visitors interested in the latest sector and industry trends, EU regulations (taxonomy, ESG, ESRS, CSRD) and environmental technologies to learn about the innovations and effective solutions of the domestic and international environmental industry and, thanks to the regional business platform, new build business relationships for future collaborations.
MATE presented its expertise in environmental safety and ecotoxicology-related activities. Furthermore, it presented its running international projects, such as REPurpose and WaterGreen Treat. The exhibition had more than 4000 registered visitors.
