Last week, the thematic events concluded with a special visit to the MATE-AKI research facilities for the top teams in the primary school competition. Awarded students, accompanied by their teachers, explored the research and experimental labs, gaining insights into university courses and ongoing projects. They were particularly fascinated by the ecotoxicological research, zebrafish lab, and other fish farming systems under the REPurpose project. Witnessing their curiosity and joy was truly rewarding. This initiative aims to nurture environmental awareness and passion for research, with the hope of seeing many of these students as future university students and young researchers. 🔬 👩🔬
